2007 RULE BOOK

All rules are subject to change.

Rule 1 : Joining Racenutracing
1.1 Drivers must register with their real name and validate email address.
1.2 League ID must be your real name. First and Last.
1.3  Car files are required to have RNR-Mod-Car#. (RNR98COT.CAR.) Email car Files  Racenutracing@gmail.com
1.4  Drivers are required to join the Website.
 
 
Rule 3 : Chatting
2.0 Teamspeak Chatting during green flag racing must be kept to a minimum. Keep it race related such as passing low, pitting etc. ( also use auto chat for race related issues. pitting, passing.. ect )
2.1 Auto Chat Messages are permitted during green flag racing. Being disrespectful to other drivers or flaming will not be tolerated
 
Rule 4: Race Number
3.0 Drivers must register with a number, available numbers are located under the Racenutracing Pitpass members.
3.1 Driver fails to enter race with registered number points will not be scored
 
Rule 5: Race Starts and Restarts
4.0 Drivers are required to remain behind the car in front by .02 until after the Start/Finish line. The only time when passing before the Start/Finish line will be acceptable is when the vehicle in front of you has mechanical failures, Missed Shifts.
 
Rule 6: Caution Flags
5.0 Racing to the line will Only be considered acceptable is when there are Ten (10) laps or less remaining in the race
5.1 Passing before taking the flag is acceptable if you are coming up on someone who was involved in the accident. This doesn't include car slowing to keep from being involved in accident.
5.2 Drivers who gain position(s) when racing back to the yellow flag will be assessed a penalty for each position gained. Penalty for racing back will be a 1 Lap.
5.3 When a yellow comes out on final 10 laps (green flag drops 10 or less to go) of a race, all lapped cars When Yellow flag came out must pit during the 2nd lap by Speed though the Pits to get longest line and line up single file behind the lead lap car. Any cars failing to do so will receive a 2 lap
penalty..
5.4 While pacing under caution. Drivers must maintain pace speed and DO NOT stop or fall back more then 0.2 while under yellow.
5.5 Drivers involved in an incident must let field pass before re-entering the track..
 
Rule 7 : Passing
6.0 The responsibility for being patient and waiting for an opportunity to make a clean pass rest on the driver attempting to make the pass Even though it may be the smart thing, the courteous thing, and the sportsmanlike thing to do, no one is obligated to simply move aside to allow another car to pass. Every driver has the right to continue to race his established racing line.
6.1 Having Position - the passing car must have it's front bumper up to the forward edge of the drivers side door to claim "having position".
6.2 The car making the pass must have "position" on the other car as they enter the turn. If he does not have "position", verifiable via replay, as they enter the turn and a protested accident results, he will be at fault. Having your front bump near the rear tire does not give you position. You must back off.
6.3 Apron passing on a straight or in a turn to gain position on any track is not allowed. Any driver doing so will be penalized with a 1 lap.
6.4 It is the responsibility of a trailing car to avoid the car in front. If a car is rear ended entering a turn the trailing car will be at fault an wrecking points awarded.
 
Z Race for position
Z2 Inside car has position. Outside car must hold its line and not move down.
Z3 Outside car has position and inside line. Inside car must back off. On turn entry sticking your nose on the inside of the outside to force the driver high is not clean racing and is not acceptable here at RNR.
 
Rule 8 : Blocking
7.0 Blocking is defined as a change in ones racing line in a clear attempt to cut off and prevent a faster car from completing a pass.
7.1 There is to be NO blocking until 5 laps to go. Causing an accident because of a bump pass could result in penalties.
 
Rule 9 : Lap Cars
8.0 Do not make drastic moves to attempt to get out of the way of the lead lap car, but maintain race speed and a smooth position while letting the lead lap car make the pass. It is the responsibility of the lead lap car to safely pass.
8.1 Lap cars should run with their F2+spacebar window open and move to the outside lane when faster cars are approaching.
8.2 If a yellow flag comes out with 10 or less laps to go all lap cars must pit and line up at the back of the field.
 
Rule 10 : Cheating
9.0 Cheating here at Racenutracing is a serious infraction and will not be tolerated! We use cheat dection software to monitor our drivers so don't it !!!
9.1 Altering or using 3rd party software in any way so as to gain an unfair advantage will not be tolerated.If caught cheating, You will be Banned from RNR, forfeit any money paid to RNR.. There are No Excuse for using a cheat program, you don't forget it was on!!!!!!! 
9.2 Members caught cheating will be permanently removed and your name will be forwarded to associate leagues and forums. If you can't race heads up without cheats, this isn't the place for you!
9.3 During qualifying laps, you must qualify ABOVE the line, not on the apron. If you are caught cheating during a qualifying lap, you will lose 100 points and serve a one race suspension.
 
Rule 11 : Black Flags
10.0 The game issues Black Flags for a reason. Admins will not give clear black flags, Exception to this rule is you can not serve your BF because caution came or wrecking at finish line and you passed a wrecking car.
10.1 Admins who receive a black flag may not clear their own black flags. An another admin in the server will be required to perform this action should it be warranted. Admins that clear they own black flag or another unauthorized BF will lose their Admin Rights, sit a week of racing.
 
Rule 12 : Lucky Dog
11.0 A league official will say who the LD is. example: ( 5 is ld ) or ( 5 is LD ) anyone involved in Yellow flag can not get Lucky Dog, It goes to the next lapped car.
11.1 LD will pit the 2nd time by. When entering or exiting pits SPEED though to get End of Longest Line Penalty . Line up at the end of the longest line.
11.2 When passing the field Text Chat " LD PASSING LOW "
 
Rule 13 : Low Line
12.0 Low lining in all divisions is not allowed.
12.1 Low lining is described as follows. When the lead draft car is on the inside lane. Running next to the yellow or white line on the front and or back straights.
 
Rule 14 : Wrecking Points
13.0 Each YELLOW flag CAUSED by a driver with the exceptions of blown engines or debris, = 1 pt. ( indicated with a red number)  plus minus 10 racing Points per 1 wrecking Point. All Lost race points are lost for good..
13.1

Self spins bringing out YELLOW flag with contact with another car = 1 Wrecking Pt Minus 10 racing Pts. No Contact With another Car 0 Points.

Second self spin With or without a yellow flag =2pts plus. Driver Must Park It

13.3 Any Driver who has Multiple self spins is subject to a week suspension
13.4 Driver causing 3 or more yellows will park it or lose all racing pts. that night
13.5 Upon returning from a suspension, you will be awarded three points back.  While under suspension driver will not earn any race points. No points can be earned past the amount of six pts.

13.7 Any admin that is involved in an incident will not decide fault on their wrecking pts.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  
13.8 When a Wreck happens If you fail to slow and Pile into cars that are involved in the wreck. You can be charged with Points for UNSAFE Driving. You can be ask to sit out for a week also!!
 
Rule 15 : Have Fun
14.0 The most important rule is for our members to have fun, we are all here to have a stress free, enjoyable racing experience with other online drivers with the same interests "SIMS RACING"!
14.1 We're all friends here at RNR. We race clean and fair and look forward to racing with you.
